This is the place in my crystal room where Kyabje Kalu Rinpoche lives. He is very unlike the crystal skulls, and in the true tradition of Tibetan Lamas, will go into retreat for weeks on end. He only usually comes to workshops when AsKRa is present.

Kyabje Kalu Rinpoche is a Tibetan Lama skull who joined me in 2005. He is a protector of AsKRa the Jade skeleton. I have much respect for this Tibetan and the teachings he brings. Tibetan Lama skulls are decorated and kept as a source of wisdom to enlighten initiates when they are ready.
